DNC Policy
Effective date: October 10, 2024
Consumer Debt Agency respects your choice about receiving calls and text messages. This policy explains how to ask us to stop contacting you for marketing purposes.
How to make a request
You can ask Consumer Debt Agency to stop marketing calls or texts to your number in any of these ways:
-
Tell our representative during a call that you do not want further calls or texts.
-
Reply STOP to a text message from us.
-
Email [DNC contact email] with the phone number you want us to stop contacting.
-
Call [DNC phone number] and ask to be placed on our Do Not Call list.
You do not need to use specific words or give a reason. If you want us to stop both calls and texts, please say so; we will also honor a clear request to stop all contact.
What happens after your request
We will record your request and suppress the number from marketing calls and texts by Consumer Debt Agency and companies calling or texting on our behalf. We will process the request promptly and within the time required by applicable law. We will not require you to speak with a sales representative to opt out.
A request to stop marketing does not prevent a communication that you specifically request later or a communication we are legally required or permitted to send. A later inquiry does not, by itself, erase a prior Do Not Call request.
National Do Not Call Registry
We maintain procedures for checking applicable calling lists against the National Do Not Call Registry and our own Do Not Call list. You can add your number to the National Do Not Call Registry at donotcall.gov or by calling 1-888-382-1222 from the number you wish to register.
Calls from other companies
This policy covers Consumer Debt Agency and parties contacting you on our behalf. If a separate company contacts you under its own name, you may also tell that company directly to stop contacting you.
